Chubb Limited announced that Matt Merna, currently overseeing the company’s retail commercial property and casualty insurance businesses for large accounts in the U.S. and Canada, will now also be delivering risk management solutions to major multinational clients overseas.

“Matt’s leadership in guiding North American clients across complex transactions and crafting risk management solutions makes him the ideal choice for these additional responsibilities,” said Juan Luis Ortega, Executive Vice President, Chubb Group and President, North America Insurance.

Merna, who has been with Chubb since 2000, has held various senior leadership positions including President of Financial Solutions and Division President, Risk Management. He later served as Executive Vice President, Chubb Global Casualty and Chief Operating Officer for North America Major Accounts.

In his expanded role, Merna will assist Chubb’s overseas teams in the design, structure, and implementation of large, complex risk management solutions for multinational corporations. &
