Notable moves on the P&C side:

CoverTree, the manufactured home insurance agency that has raised $25 million to date, was appointed by Integon, part of Allstate. Markel was previously its primary underwriting partner.

NEXT Insurance appointed 29 agencies, including established commercial brokerages like Hibbs-Hallmark & Company and a less obvious fit — Buy Life Insurance Now, LLC, a life insurance agency.

Rainbow, the MGA that raised $20 million to insure restaurants, beauty and wellness businesses, and commercial real estate, was appointed with Hadron and Clear Spring, part of Group 1001. Clear Spring also provides underwriting capacity to Coterie.

Polly, which distributes auto insurance through car dealers, was appointed with The Hartford. Also new to The Hartford: Soma, a self-described “fastest brokerage for complex businesses” founded in 2025 with a team of about six.

Home State County Mutual appointed Toyota Insurance Management Solutions, GEICO appointed QuinStreet Insurance Agency, and DocShield — the digital med-mal brokerage — was appointed with The Doctors Company, fresh off its ProAssurance acquisition.

Also of note: ContractorNerd, founded by Embroker’s former chief strategy officer, is now appointed with Berkshire Hathaway Direct, likely biBerk; Goosehead was appointed by TRM Specialty Insurance Company, part of MS Transverse, which launched a standard Texas homeowners program effective June 1.

On the L&H side, Ethos was appointed by Revol One, Stride Health was appointed by an Allstate entity, and Banner Life appointed 31 agencies, including Goosehead.
