FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Last Saturday, a mother and two sons were not able to return to their home because of damage caused by a high-speed chase that ended in her living room.
The mother says that she will stay with her parents in Chowchilla while her house is being repaired, absorbing the costs of her daily commute to take her two kids to school and to work.
She received a call from Fresno police saying that during a high-speed chase, the driver lost control and plowed through her condo. The renter says that her two dogs were home and in crates, and they were scared…But unharmed.
What she didn’t know was the extent of the damage from that chase, which ended when it ripped through her living room and into her kitchen.
The renter says she does not have renters insurance but that the HOA and condominium owner will cover most expenses.
She has a go-fund-me setup for those who can help.
