Allianz Commercial names Chris Terry as Global Head of Underwriting for ART

Allianz Commercial, part of global insurer Allianz, has appointed Chris Terry as the Global Head of Underwriting for Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) business.

In the role, Terry will be responsible for driving the continued success of ART insurance products, which have become an important component of the overall insurance marketplace.

In December 2022, Tery was appointed as the Global Product Lead for Structured Insurance at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), also in ART.

His remit in the prior role included a focus on further developing the ART underwriting strategy and driving a globally consistent approach for structured insurance while streamlining systems and processes to enable the planned scaling of the business.

Prior to this, he served for over 14 years as an underwriter at Allianz Risk Transfer, based in London.
