American Integrity Insurance Group Accelerates Market Leadership With Assumption of More Than 7,000 Citizens Policies in November — Reinforcing Growth, Customer Retention Strength, and Florida Market Stability
American Integrity Insurance Group, Inc. (NYSE: AII) today announced the assumption of 7,087 policies from Citizens Property Insurance Corporation, adding approximately $25.8 million of annualized written premium at an average premium of $3,640. This marks another significant step in the Company’s disciplined, profitable expansion strategy and underscores its position as one of the most active private-market participants in Florida’s improving insurance landscape.
This November assumption continues a series of strategic depopulations over the past two years. Through its assumption of policies during 2024–2025, American Integrity has transitioned nearly 100,000 homeowners back into the private market as Florida’s legislative reforms—particularly those enacted in 2022 and 2023—continue to reduce litigation, streamline claims activity, and stabilize the broader property insurance landscape.
“Florida’s reforms restored clarity, predictability, and fairness to a market that had been destabilized by litigation abuse,” said Bob Ritchie, CEO of American Integrity Insurance Group. “As conditions improve, American Integrity is leaning into opportunities where we can grow responsibly, support homeowners, and demonstrate leadership in Florida’s return to a sustainable private market.”
