Aon has promoted Kate Simons to U.S. property broking industries leader, a newly created role.
Ms. Simons, based in Chicago, will drive property insurance strategies across key sectors and collaborate with industry practice leaders, according to a LinkedIn post.
Ms. Simons was previously managing director, deputy property leader, Western zone. She joined Aon in 2008.
She was a 2018 Business Insurance Break Out award winner.
