Arch Insurance North America announced a series of leadership appointments aimed at strengthening its wholesale platform and supporting growth in the excess and surplus (E&S) market.
Jason Conkin was promoted to the newly created role of Division President – Wholesale Property & Casualty, where he will oversee underwriting and growth initiatives across E&S lines. Reporting to Conkin will be Mike Ward, who was promoted to Executive Vice President, Head of E&S Casualty, and Joe Morrello, Executive Vice President, Head of E&S Property.
Arch also named Jared Stacey Senior Vice President, Head of Wholesale Distribution. Reporting to Sue Srinivasan, Executive Vice President, Distribution, Stacey will be responsible for coordinating wholesale distribution strategy and aligning distribution and underwriting teams.

Separately, Valerie Turpin, Division President – Property, will retire on July 1 after nearly eight years leading Arch’s property business.
Arch Capital Group reported approximately $26.9 billion in capital as of March 31, 2026.
