Deadline extended for US Insurance Awards

The deadline to submit a nomination for Business Insurance’s U.S. Insurance Awards has been extended to March 31.

Now in its eighth year, the awards program highlights exceptional work by insurance professionals working at companies across the commercial insurance industry, including retail brokers, insurers, claims management organizations, consultants and other risk management service providers.

The program also recognizes community outreach projects by organizations in the industry and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.

Recognizing that major achievements are seldom the work of individuals working in isolation, many of the awards honor teams of professionals engaged on specific projects. Anyone familiar with a team’s work can nominate them for an award.

This year, the program includes four innovation categories to celebrate new technologies and services designed ultimately to help risk managers. Before this year, these awards were celebrated for 15 years under the Innovation Awards branding.

Business Insurance editorial staff select finalists in each of the categories, and a panel of risk managers reviews the finalists and selects the winners.
