The fire happened in a business near South Broadway and East Bayaud Avenue.
DENVER — The Denver Fire Department responded to a report of a commercial building fire near South Broadway and East Bayaud Avenue Tuesday morning. That’s just north of East Alameda Avenue.
Firefighters arrived to the business around 4:45 a.m. and saw fire and smoke coming from the first floor of the building, according to Denver Fire. Crews were able to get the fire under control quickly, Denver Fire posted on the social platform X.
Several residents in the building had to be evacuated, according to one resident.
No injuries were reported, according to Denver Fire.
The source and cause of the fire is under investigation.
