Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. on Monday named Michael Garrison as head of international, in addition to his current role as head of wholesale, effective Nov. 1.
Rick Ciullo was named head of global specialty’s U.S. retail businesses. Mr. Ciullo previously was head of bond and credit and political risk insurance.
Based in Red Bank, New Jersey, Mr. Garrison and Mr. Ciullo will continue to report to Adrien Robinson, head of global specialty.
Mr. Garrison joined Hartford in 2021 as head of wholesale for its Navigators Insurance Co. unit.
Carl Bach remains head of international and CEO of Hartford Underwriting Agency Ltd., a Lloyd’s of London managing general agency, and will report to Mr. Garrison.
Hartford’s global specialty business provides specialty coverages including cyber, bond, environmental, directors and officers liability, errors and omissions liability, ocean marine, credit and political risk, in addition to livestock and other lines.
