In 2003, Armand D’Andrea joined the agency, and it rebranded as Northern Insurance Group in 2005.

The firm is recognised for its expertise in providing coverage for restaurant, construction, and small business sectors, as well as maintaining a diverse generalist portfolio.

As per the terms of the agreement, the Northern Insurance team will remain in their current location and continue to serve clients as before, now supported by Inszone’s additional resources, advanced technology, and national carrier relationships.

Northern Insurance Group president Armand D’Andrea said: “When we began exploring a partnership, we knew we needed a company with greater resources, stronger carrier access, and a broader platform to support continued growth. After meeting with the Inszone team, it became clear that their vision aligned with ours.

“I saw a similar philosophy and a level of scale and support that matched where we wanted to go next. They understand how to grow without losing the personal touch that our clients expect.”

Inszone Insurance Services CEO Chris Walters said: “Armand and the Northern Insurance team represent the best of what independent insurance agencies bring to their communities. Northern Insurance Group brings years of expertise to insurance, particularly in construction and restaurant risks, and we are excited to welcome them to Inszone.”

Inszone, established in 2002 and headquartered in Sacramento, California, operates as a full-service insurance brokerage company.

The firm provides property and casualty insurance alongside employee benefits solutions.

Inszone serves clients across multiple states in the US, expanding its reach through both organic growth and acquisitions, with additional national expansion anticipated.

In July 2025, Inszone expanded its presence in Oklahoma with the acquisition of Stephenson, Baggs & Guthrie.
