Keystone CEO to exit, brokerage names president

Jeff Turner is leaving acquisitive brokerage Keystone Agency Partners LLC “to pursue other opportunities,” the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania-based company announced Friday.

Former Travelers Cos. Inc. executive Patrick J. Kinney, who has been a strategic adviser to the company since December, was named president and will assume CEO Mr. Turner’s “day-to-day strategic and operational duties,” a Keystone Agency Partners statement said.

A spokeswoman for the brokerage declined to provide more information on the change in leadership.

Keystone Agency Partners, which is the 56th-largest brokerage of U.S. business according to Business Insurance’s most recent ranking, was founded in 2020 with support from Keystone Insurers Group Inc. and Bain Capital LP. In January, it announced that private equity fund Flexpoint Ford Asset Opportunity Fund II made a “significant” investment in the company.
