Marsh McLennan Agency recently hired four interns for a 12-week session this summer in their Fargo office.
Maddy Kovacich, Chloe Gemmill and Jaron Reis are part of North Dakota State University’s vigorous sales program, all majoring in Marketing. Maddy is also majoring in Business Administration. Chloe’s special interests are in Entrepreneurship and Jaron has a special interest in Sales, specifically International Business. Ingrid Otterson is joining the team from the University of Minnesota – Curtis L. Carlson School of Management where she majors in Finance and Risk Management Insurance.
This program fully immerses these interns in the insurance industry through rotations in Employee Health and Benefits, Business Insurance and Private Client departments, working with all different insurance brokerage operations including client servicing, policy processing, marketing, claims and sales. This internship program is designed to give local college students real life experience by putting them to use alongside Marsh McLennan Agency’s tenured sales and service teams. They will be responsible for creating business plans to develop, enhance and strengthen current Marsh McLennan Agency’s processes. Some of these projects will be working with the local team, whereas others are national working with interns across the country.
