Michael Chang has left his position as head of corporate risk & broking for North America at Willis Towers Watson PLC.
Mr. Chang’s departure was effective Dec. 3, a company spokesman confirmed Wednesday in an email.
Mr. Chang joined WTW from Sompo International Holdings Ltd. in 2022 and became a member of WTW’s global leadership team.
Under his leadership, WTW’s North American corporate risk and broking arm was restructured into 12 industry verticals.
His appointment was one of several high-profile hires at WTW as it rebuilt its operations following its failed sale to Aon PLC.
Lucy Clarke, former president of Marsh Specialty, part of Marsh LLC, joined WTW as president of its risk and broking unit in July this year.
In a statement, WTW said: “WTW confirms that Mike Chang will be leaving the company. We wish Mike all the best in his future endeavors and thank him for driving our specialization efforts in North America Corporate Risk and Broking.”
