Munich Re Specialty Insurance on Wednesday named Sabrina Hart president and CEO, effective May 1.
Ms. Hart had served as interim CEO since January 2023 when former CEO Michael Kerner was appointed a member of the Munich Re board of management, global specialty insurance division.
She will report to Mr. Kerner and will also serve as a member of the GSI executive leadership team, a statement said.
Ms. Hart joined Munich Re Specialty from Zurich Insurance in 2022 as president, excess and surplus lines.
She was among the 2013 Business Insurance Women to Watch.
