A Ridge man has been arrested after police say he sold fake car insurance.
News 12 has been told a Shirley man contacted police last month saying he paid Joseph Cawley for insurance, but never received the identification cards for his policy.
Police say the man paid more than $1,500.
Following an investigation, Cawley was arrested at his home on Monday.
