SILVER CLIFF, Wis. (WBAY) – The town of Silver Cliff has confirmed its municipal buildings are open to the public again after obtaining liability insurance.
One week ago, the town’s insurance company dropped Silver Cliff due to storm damage claims, forcing municipal buildings to close.
Town Chair Dee Farley said the town is currently focused on digging out from the blizzard. Farley also thanked the neighboring town of Athelstane, whose plow crews helped clear main roads in Silver Cliff when the town could not use its own vehicles.
