Norway-based marine insurer Assuranceforeningen Skuld recorded a profit of $13.4 million in the nine-month period ended Nov. 20, compared to a loss of $20.5 million in the year-ago comparable period, Reinsurance News reported. The insurer said due to investment losses together with foreign exchange fluctuations, changes in tax liabilities had a positive effect on the nine-month financial results.
