The Missouri Arts Council honored Stephen Foutes, director of the Missouri Division of Tourism, and Michael Donovan, director of the Missouri Arts Council, with the Humanities Partners of the Year award.

The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra appointed Erin Freeman as director of the St. Louis Symphony Chorus. Freeman is the third director of the chorus since its founding in 1976. She succeeds Amy Kaiser, who directed the chorus from 1995 to 2022.

FOCUS St. Louis elected seven new board members: Joseph Blanner, McCarthy, Leonard & Kaemmerer; Jason Chretien, Washington University; David Erickson, Ascension Investment Managerment; LaTonya Keaton, CoBank; Missy Kelley, Anders CPAs + Advisors; Christina Moore, Husch Blackwell; and Steward Stiles III, St. Louis Voices Academy of Media Arts
