• I’m ticked off that car insurance companies don’t spend more money on hiring good attorneys to protect their assets and keep premiums low rather than spending too much money on advertising.

• Don’t you just hate “news” stories and clickbait that lure you with fascinating or personally practical titles, then it takes you 20 paragraphs and 30 ads to finally see the solution to the question they posed?

• To all involved with the Orlando Magic, please wake up. You were up 3-1 in this past series. You got outplayed in all facets of the game to lose the series. Rotations were unbalanced, your size was outdone and your defense got outmatched. You need a Shaq-sized person, you need a Tracy McGrady-sized person and you need a Nick Anderson-sized person. Those players got you to contend. If you want to contend in the future, you better look to spend some cash and bring in some elite folks to make your teams well-balanced. If not, you will not win championships.

• What a sight at Lake Eola on Earth Day. There were countless persons picking up trash all along Lake Eola. They had on reflective vests and I surmise they were a local group of volunteers. Thank you!

• Thank you to Dr. Deborah German, founding dean of the UCF College of Medicine, who will be retiring soon after 20 years. The medical future in Central Florida is very bright because of her dedication and leadership.
