Safe driving class planned in Washington Township

A Seniors for Safe Driving class will be offered from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 10 at Washington Township Volunteer Firehall, 4078 Route 66.

Sponsored by Rep. Jill Cooper, the class is PennDOT approved and for drivers who are at least 55. There is no exam or on-the-road driving required. Safe drivers can receive a 5% discount on auto insurance for three years. Cost is $17.
