Ad of the Day: Aviva unveils cinematic insurance short with a twist

Aviva has released its latest brand film, titled ‘The Night Job’ to tout its swift insurance offerings. The cinematic film, directed by Novemba and produced by Academy, opens on what appears to be a dark and secretive ‘night job’ interrupted by car problems, but takes an unexpected turn.

The spot continues Aviva’s reimagined brand expression, which launched last year and includes evolved brand assets such as an updated color palette, typography, and tone of voice.

Sarah Leccacorvi, head of marketing communications at Aviva said: “We’re thrilled with ‘The Night Job’ advert. It showcases our onward journey, offering a story that strikes just the right balance between anticipation and light-hearted humor, in a category where it’s notoriously difficult to stand out.”

The ad will run in the UK on TV, social and digital. Media buying comes from Publicis Media.
