Munich Re named Germany-based Andrew Buchanan to succeed Chief Financial Officer Christoph Jurecka, effective Jan. 1. Mr. Jurecka was named CEO, replacing Joachim Wenning, who will be retiring at the end of the year. Mr. Buchanan is currently CFO of Munich Re’s reinsurance business.
