American International Group announced that Chairman and CEO Peter Zaffino will retire as CEO by mid-year and will be succeeded by former Aon executive Eric Andersen. Mr. Zaffino will transition to executive chairman and Mr. Andersen will join as president and CEO-elect on Feb. 16, expected to become CEO June 1.
