As lifestyles change due to WFH, increasing EV usage and online car buying, the demand for more flexible insurance has increased. Here’s the word;
Kia UK has partnered with Wrisk Transfer Limited (Wrisk) to launch a new insurance experience for all new and used Kia car customers.
The partnership revolutionises and streamlines the Kia Car Insurance and Kia Accident Aftercare products, which now benefit customers with greater flexibility, transparency and convenience.
Kia Car Insurance now available monthly
Utilising Wrisk’s intelligent insurance technology and expertise, the new insurance solution offers consumers a monthly rolling subscription policy without penalty or transaction fees.
Available now, the new Kia Car Insurance can be set up in moments, with customers able to view and amend documents online. The price agreed is guaranteed for 12 months should no changes be made to the policy. And, if needed, expert support is available from Wrisk’s customer service team.
The subscription model reflects Kia’s commitment to delivering customer centric, digitally enabled services that complement the brand’s growing electrified product lineup. The new Kia Car Insurance is available across new and used Kia passenger cars, including the PV5 Passenger.
Kia Driveaway Insurance made easier
Kia is committed to making the process of buying a new or used car both rewarding and enjoyable for its customers. To support this, the new five-day complimentary Kia Driveaway Insurance, provided by Wrisk, has been greatly simplified allowing customers to register within minutes.
This complimentary insurance enables customers to get on the road without unnecessary delay, while providing the reassurance that they remain legal. Wrisk’s expert provision ensures that every customer receives reliable and professional support throughout the activation and coverage period.
Enhanced Kia Accident Aftercare
Kia’s Accident Aftercare services have also been enhanced, placing customer satisfaction and support at the forefront. In the event of an accident, repairs will, wherever possible, be directed back to the customer’s selling Dealer and their associated Kia Approved Bodyshop. This ensures that customers receive expert care from teams who know their vehicle best, providing continuity and trust, and making the repair process straightforward and reassuring. By maintaining strong customer relationships and prioritising convenience, Kia aims to deliver customer peace of mind.
Chris Lear, Aftersales Director at Kia UK, said: “We are excited to launch our new partnership with Wrisk, which signals a significant step forward in how we support our customers throughout their vehicle ownership. By offering a flexible, transparent and fully digital subscription insurance experience, we are helping Kia drivers enjoy peace of mind and exceptional service at every stage. Underpinned by Wrisk’s insurance expertise, we can be confident that all our customers will benefit, whether picking up a new Kia or looking to renew insurance for an existing one.”
Robert Cottrell, VP Commercial, at Wrisk commented: “We’re very proud to have been appointed by Kia UK to deliver their new branded insurance programme. Working intensively with the Kia team has been an absolute pleasure as we both share the same vision of bringing the highest standards of digitally-delivered insurance to customers of Kia.”
