Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) recently hired four interns for a 12-week session this summer in their Fargo office.
Sam Huffman and Karsten Broadley are both part of North Dakota State University’s vigorous sales program. Brock Anderson is working on his Master of Business Administration at NDSU and Georgina Corral-Sandoval is getting her degree in Management and Accounting. All four interns are strong local NDSU students, and during their 12 weeks with MMA will be very active in to the Fargo community. Sam, Karsten and Brock will be fully immersed in the insurance industry through their rotations in Employee Health and Benefits, Business Insurance and Private Client departments, working with all different insurance brokerage operations including client servicing, policy processing, marketing, claims and sales. While Georgina is spending her summer in the Human Resources department focusing on employee engagement survey data and culture initiatives. This internship program is designed to give local college students real life experience by putting them to use alongside MMA’s tenured sales and service teams. They will be responsible for creating business plans to develop, enhance and strengthen current MMA processes. Some of these projects will be working locally, whereas others are national with interns across the country.
