Palo Alto, California-based NEXT Insurance will now be operating as ERGO NEXT Insurance, a new brand identity that the company says reflects its next phase of growth as a small businesses insurance provider.
The updated brand follows NEXT’s integration with ERGO, the primary insurance company of Munich Re, as part of the group’s international expansion strategy.
Agents and small businesses will see the visual rebrand live on ERGO NEXT’s digital channels, including its website, social media, and brand communications starting immediately, with a broader rollout over the coming months.
ERGO NEXT will continue to operate as a digital-first insurer, providing coverage for small businesses nationwide.
The firm offer a range of small business insurance including, general liability, business owners policy, workers’ compensation and professional liability.
The firm was acquired by Munich Re in 2025 to become a part of their ERGO Group global insurance network.
ERGO operates in more than 20 countries. The company offers customers all the main classes of insurance as well as comprehensive assistance and other services. Three units operate under the umbrella of ERGO Group AG: ERGO Deutschland AG, ERGO International AG and ERGO Technology & Services Management AG.
