Progressive Insurance® signs deal to become presenting sponsor for Rangers Sports Network


Arlington, Texas — Rangers Sports Network (RSN) and Progressive Insurance® today announced a multi-year agreement that will make the company the presenting sponsor for the network. Rangers Sports Network presented by Progressive will debut with Monday night’s broadcast of the Rangers’ exhibition game against the Kansas City Royals at Globe Life Field.

“As we begin our first season with games on Rangers Sports Network, we are thrilled to enter this agreement with such a distinguished partner,” said Chad Wynn, Rangers Senior Vice President of Partnerships. “The national recognition and reputation of Progressive speaks for itself and we are proud to have them as a presenting sponsor for the club’s new television home.”

Progressive is a leading provider of car insurance, home insurance, and other protection needs. Progressive provides insurance for personal and commercial autos and trucks, motorcycles, boats, recreational vehicles, and homes. The company is the second largest personal auto insurer in the United States, a leading seller of commercial auto, motorcycle, and boat insurance, and one of the top 15 homeowners’ insurance carriers.

Rangers Sports Network presented by Progressive will offer options to fans to access local game broadcasts through traditional providers, the Victory+ streaming service, and a package of free over-the-air games. The club currently has agreements to air games on DIRECTV satellite, satellite-free streaming, and U-verse, as well as Spectrum, Fubo, and Astound. RSN also has agreements with Nexstar Media Group and Gray Media for 15 over-the-air broadcasts carried on stations throughout the club’s television territory, including Nexstar-owned KDAF-TV CW33 in the Dallas-Ft. Rangers Sports Network presented by Progressive will air a one-hour pregame show before the team’s regular season opener on Thursday, March 27 vs. Boston. This one-hour special will feature the club’s broadcast team, including new pre/post analyst Elvis Andrus, and will be led by Jared Sandler. The network is scheduled to broadcast this week’s final two exhibition contests ahead of Thursday’s opener.
