WINSLOW, Ind. (WFIE) – The community in Winslow is working to help a local man who lost his home in a fire last week.
That fire broke out on West Jefferson Street in Winslow around noon Friday.
Family members of the victim tell us he was treated for burns at a Louisville hospital and has since been released.
They say he lost his home and car in the fire and didn’t have renters insurance.
The Red Cross is assisting him right now.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help him get back on his feet.
