A local insurance company will move to the Libbie Mill Midtown redevelopment in Henrico County.

The Percy Barnett State Farm Insurance Agency will be opening a retail suite in the community’s Tanner Row building, developer Gumenick Properties announced Jan. 12. The 1,632-square-foot space will be located next to The Corner Shops.

Libbie Mill is a mixed-use development that includes apartments, townhomes, condos, shops, restaurants, a lake, pier, pavilion, and the Libbie Mill Library.

“We try to help our clients and prospective clients with all of their insurance needs, especially auto, home, renters, life, and business insurance,” said Percy Barnett, owner and principal of the agency, which is expected to open at Libbie Mill in early March. There are still 6,177 square feet of retail space available at Libbie Mill.
